What is the Kohi click test?

Kohi was one of the most popular Minecraft PvP servers (2013–2017), known for its competitive kit PvP and HCF (Hardcore Factions) gamemodes. Fast clicking directly affected your attack speed in Minecraft's combat system, making CPS a core skill metric. The Kohi click test recreates that benchmark: click as fast as you can in short timed bursts.

CPS targets for Minecraft PvP

  • 6–8 CPS — functional for casual PvP and survival combat.
  • 9–12 CPS — competitive range for kit PvP and HCF.
  • 13+ CPS — top-tier; typically requires jitter or butterfly clicking.

Why short durations?

Minecraft PvP engagements rarely last more than a few seconds of sustained clicking. The 1, 5, and 10 second rounds mirror real combat bursts. For endurance training, try the CPS test with its 100-second mode.

Frequently asked questions

Does CPS still matter in modern Minecraft?
Since the 1.9 combat update, attack cooldowns reduce the advantage of high CPS in vanilla Minecraft. However, many PvP servers and older versions (1.7/1.8) still reward fast clicking, and CPS remains a popular dexterity benchmark.
What clicking method should I use?
Regular clicking is consistent at 6–8 CPS. Jitter clicking reaches 10–14 but fatigues quickly. Butterfly clicking (two fingers alternating) sustains 10–15 with less strain. Practice the jitter click test to build that specific technique.
Is this the official Kohi test?
No. The original Kohi server is no longer active. This is an independent tribute benchmark using the same short-burst format the community standardized.
