What is a CPS test?
A CPS (clicks per second) test measures how many times you can click a mouse button within a set time window. It is the standard benchmark for Minecraft PvP, osu! clicking speed, and general mouse dexterity. The timer starts on your first click and the test ends when the countdown reaches zero.
CPS benchmarks
- 3–5 CPS — average casual clicking speed.
- 6–9 CPS — above average; typical for regular gamers.

Clicking techniques
- Regular clicking
- Standard single-finger clicks. Reliable and consistent, typically 5–8 CPS.
- Jitter clicking
